Scope:
|
Audit standard configured Work Orders to ensure Parts Lists and Routings are complete and accurate prior to release to manufacturing. Process all special configured orders and adjust Work Order Parts List and Routing to reflect actual requirements.
|
|
Duties:
|
Audit configured Work Orders for BOM and Routing accuracy
Process special orders, adjusting BOMs and Routings to reflect actual consumption
Work closely with order entry to ensure special orders are keyed correctly
Work as engineering liaison between product documentation, order entry and manufacturing
Able to interpret door specifications sent in by customer.
Work with engineering resources to resolve issues regarding standard and special product configurations
Communicate effectively with personnel in other departments
Read and analyze shop drawings and interpret architectural specs, related to customer requirements
Limited Bill of Material Maintenance as required in support of the persons normally assigned to this task
Other Responsibilities:
Develop adequate product and systems knowledge to address configuration issues
Develop knowledge of engineering processes and product application and operation
Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications: |
High school education plus 4-5 years experience or equivalent training and experience. Some college experience preferred. Must be computer literate with knowledge in Word and Excel. Any additional knowledge in JDE or other systems would be beneficial. Successful candidate should be able to operate standard office equipment. Mechanical background beneficial.
